Daft Punk's new single "Get Lucky" only came out last Friday, but it turns out that was plenty of time to make a big entrance on the Billboard singles charts. The Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers-assisted track was downloaded 113,000 times in the last three days of the past tracking week.
That marks the best sales frame of the French DJ duo's career and puts "Get Lucky" at number ten on Billboard's Digital Songs chart. The impressive sales total also helped push the song to number 20 on the Hot 100.
Daft Punk previously only made it as high as number 61 on the Hot 100 with both 1997's "Around the World" and 2001's "One More Time."
"Get Lucky" is the first single from Daft Punk's first album since 2005. Random Access Memories is due out May 21st.
