Off of the field away from any cameras or media James has gone out of his way to give a call or even visit with adults and children fighting cancer around the Pittsburgh area.
James Conner is an amazing human and one of the stories the NFL needs in a draft that has been filled with stories of athletes failing drug tests, beating women and even being drafted after stories came out about them being investigated on rape charges.
The Steelers were lucky to draft James because he is a great player on the field and an even better guy off of it.
