A new bill to allow the use of medical marijuana in Pennsylvania is supposed to be filed today (Monday) by Senators (Democrat) Daylin Leach and (Republican) Mike Folmer.
While other medical marijuana bills have been introduced and failed this will be the first time a bill is co-sponsored by a republican and democrat which the Senators are hoping pushes the bill along.
If the bill is passed it would take effect 90 days from the governor’s signature.
But it probably isn't going to get passed....
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has said he would veto any bill allowing medical marijuana in Pennsylvania.
