Chris Cornell, frontman for the bands Soundgarden and Audioslave, has died “suddenly and unexpectedly” at the age of 52.
The ABC news station in Detroit is reporting that sources have told them "Cornell was pronounced dead in an MGM Grand Detroit hotel room following his show at the Fox Theatre. Detroit police say he died from an apparent suicide.
Police say Cornell's wife called a family friend and asked him to check on his well being. The friend forced opened the door and found Cornell on the bathroom floor."
Chris was playing a show in Detroit with Audioslave on Wednesday, May 17th....
