Bastille and Marshmello Perform "Happier" on 'Ellen': Watch

Bastille and Marshmello's collaborative single "Happier" has been topping the charts since it dropped over the summer, and on Tuesday (December 11) the indie pop group and EDM producer brought their emotional electro-pop track (seriously, the video will make you cry) to The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Backed by a projector displaying the DJ's signature smiley face, singer Dan Smith sang his heart out while his band played along and Marshmello kept the beat. When the vocalist wasn't confessing "I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier," he was showing off his best dance moves as the masked producer pounded on his electronic drum machine pad.

Watch the uplifting performance below.

Although the UK-based band have been heavily promoting this collaborative project lately, they have much more up their sleeves.

Earlier this month, Bastille teased part four of their Other People's Heartache mixtape through a cryptic phone service in both the US and UK. Additionally, the group is working on a third studio album. Smith chatted with iHeartRadio about the new record, and what fans can expect. Read the full interview here.

Though we don't know much about either project, it sounds like we'll be getting a lot of new music from Bastille in 2019.
