Three Finalists Named for ‘Renovate the Rink’

The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced the three finalists for this years ‘Renovate the Rink’. They include:

  • Beaver County Ice Arena, Beaver
  • Belmont Complex, Armstrong
  • S&T Arena, Indiana

The winner, based on fan voting, will receive a grand prize of $100,000 in renovations! Check out the official press release below for more details or at PittsburghPenguins.com.

Three Finalists Named for ‘Renovate the Rink’

Fan voting underway now at pittsburghpenguins.com

Three local rinks have been named finalists in the “Renovate the Rink” contest, presented by the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Commercial Construction (PittComm).

Based on fan voting that is underway now and runs through March 9, one of the rinks will receive the grand prize -- $100,000 in renovations.

The three finalists are:

  • Beaver County Ice Arena, Beaver
  • Belmont Complex, Armstrong
  • S&T Arena, Indiana

Fans may check out a brief video about each rink and vote for the one they feel is most deserving at www.pittsburghpenguins.com/renovatetherink.

The Penguins and PittComm will team up to provide $100,000 in materials and construction management services at the winning rink.

More than 400 entries were received during the submission phase of the contest. Rinks in the following counties were eligible: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland.
