Some AMC Theatres to Reopen August 20th With 15 Cent Tickets

AMC Theatres are set to reopen hundreds of their locations on August 20, 2020. This includes our Waterfront 22 location. "Movies in 2020 at 1920 prices" is set to last for one day only with tickets at 15 cents, and celebrate 100 years of movie magic.

Adam Aron, CEO and President of AMC Theatres, stated: “We are thrilled to once again open our doors to American moviegoers who are looking for an opportunity to get out of their houses and apartments and escape into the magic of the movies. As our guests return on our first day of resumed operations on August 20, we invite them to join us in celebrating a return to the movies, and in celebrating 100 years of AMC making smiles happen with movies at 1920 prices of only 15 cents each.”

AMC Safe & Clean includes significant reductions in the amounts of tickets available for each screening, as well as seat blocking for social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the building, and enhanced cleaning procedures will be in effect.
