Taylor Swift experienced a technical wardrobe malfunction on stage during an Eras Tour show in Sweden over the weekend, and handled the mishap like a pro.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Karma" songstress was in the middle of singing a few surprise songs from her set list when she began to experience sound issues. The microphone pack attached to the back of her blue, flowing, maxi-gown came undone and the artist immediately knew what she had to do.
Per video footage captured by audience members, Swift let the crowd know that the microphone wasn't working properly and proceeded to say, "one second, just talk amongst yourselves." The hitmaker walked to a nearby piano and took a seat at the bench in an attempt to remedy the device.
Once seated, Swift ripped open the front of her dress, exposing a shimmering crop top and shorts set worn during "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," performed earlier in the night, as audience members gasped. After trying to secure the mic in place for a few seconds, a crew member came to the standout's rescue and ended up fixing the issue. Swift then closed her dress and seamlessly resumed the magical performance.
The May 17th Stockholm show was the first time the "Cruel Summer" artist has ever performed in Sweden, and given the kind words she shared to Instagram, it likely won't be the last!
"Stockholm!!!! Thank you for being the most generous, excitable, magical crowds, and for breaking the all time attendance record for the stadium all 3 nights. Can’t believe this was our first time playing in Sweden - but it won’t be our last…"
Swift is slated to take the stage in Lisbon, Portugal with Paramore on May 24th as part of her next performance.
