Hey there, fellow Swifties! If you're anything like me, you've been counting down the days until Netflix releases their Taylor Swift documentary, Miss Americana. The documentary doesn't come out until January 31st, but we finally have a trailer to fangirl over. Earlier today, Taylor posted it on her Instagram with the caption, "It's been a long time coming" with a sparkles emoji. Indeed it has, girl.

I could go on and on about how good this looks, but you should watch it for yourself. My personal favorite part is when Taylor hugs her boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn. The two of them are notoriously private about their relationship and I have been starving for content for months now. Fingers crossed that we'll get to see more Taylor and Joe in the documentary.

The documentary will premiere at Sundance as early as tomorrow, January 23rd, but won't be available to stream on Netflix until January 31st. According to the New York Post, Miss Americana will chronicle Taylor's journey from run-of-the-mill pop star to the boss political activist we all know and love. After receiving a storm of criticism for her good-girl attitude and picture-perfect image, Taylor shocked the world when she posted her first political Instagram post in 2018. In the trailer, Taylor says, "I had to deconstruct an entire belief system, toss it out, and reject it." I can't wait to see her do just that!

You can stream Miss Americana on Netflix on January 31st. Until then, I'll be watching the trailer approximately three times a day.
