PGH Bookstore Hosts Chat with “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” Author

Who’s the one fictional character you’d like to video chat with while social distancing? If your answer is Lara Jean Covey from Netflix's To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, I found an event you might be interested in.

Pittsburgh’s very own White Whale Bookstore, located in the heart of Bloomfield, is partnering with Books Are Magic, an independent bookstore in Brooklyn, to bring bestselling author Jenny Han to your very own home. On Thursday, April 9 at 7PM, White Whale Bookstore is hosting a Zoom chat with Jenny, author of the young adult series that inspired the Netflix smash hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and her best friend Siobhan Vivian, New York Times bestselling author of We Are the Wildcats. During their Zoom chat, Siobhan will do a reading from We Are the Wildcats and Jenny will hopefully answer all your burning questions about Peter Kavinsky. The Zoom chat link is at White Whale Bookstore’s Facebook page, and if you want to follow along with Siobhan’s reading, you can order a signed and personalized copy of We Are the Wildcats from White Whale Bookstore’s website.

Additionally, if you love supporting local businesses like White Whale Bookstore, you should check out our iHeart Western PA Businesses presented by Duolingo to learn how you can help during the coronavirus outbreak. You can see what your favorite businesses currently have to offer and can even send them a little something-something through our virtual tip jar. Shop local, and happy reading!

Can’t wait for the third installment of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before? Do you think Lara Jean made the wrong choice by picking Peter Kavinsky? What the heck is the deal with this banana bread everyone’s making? Drop me a message in the comments or slide into my DM’s on Twitter or Instagram, @shutupallybear.
