Tayshia Adams Might Replace Clare Crawley as 'The Bachelorette'

If the rumors are true, we truly are in for the most dramatic season of The Bachelorette ever.

Bachelor Nation is buzzing because, as rumor has it, bachelorette Clare Crawley, 39, has left the show with contestant Dale Moss less than two weeks into filming, and the producers have already replaced her with Tayshia Adams, 29, from Colton’s season of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise.

When the producers of The Bachelor made the difficult decision to postpone Clare’s season because of the pandemic, they recast her suitors. Fans were originally angry that Clare’s suitors were too young for her, and the show set out to correct its course. Speculation that something had gone wrong with production began when, only days into filming, the producers asked some of the backup suitors they replaced to return to the show. Shortly after, Life & Style posted an article claiming that Clare threatened to quit because she already found love with her first impression pick, Dale Moss. The article speculated that the two of them might have already been talking when they began filming, and even claimed that Clare hid in her room when she was supposed to hang out with some of the other guys.

Shortly after, a Reddit user posted that the producers had already replaced Clare with Tayshia due to problems during filming. Entertainment blogger Reality Steve added fuel to the fire when he tweeted that, after being on the phone for two hours, this post could have some validity.

Fellow Bachelor contestant Demi Burnett then said that her texts to Tayshia were not going through on Instagram Live, potentially because she has her phone off like all Bachelor contestants are required to do. Tayshia has also gone dark on social media, a potential sign that she is filming The Bachelor, and, on top of it all, Clare liked and disliked a tweet about Tayshia becoming the Bachelorette.

So, what do we think? Is Tayshia the new Bachelorette, or will we still go on Clare’s journey to find love after waiting for so long? Personally, I’m all in for Tayshia being the new Bachelorette. I’ve been rooting for her since Colton’s season, and it’s time she gets the love and respect she deserves.
