Rose Bowl Hosts Drive-In Movie Theater To Replace Canceled Fourth Of July Fireworks

Halloween is coming early this year, because, at the end of the month, Pittsburgh classic Night of the Living Dead is coming to a drive-in in the Pittsburgh area as part of a nationwide tour. On Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29, Grindhouse Releasing and Janus Films are bringing a new restoration of Night of the Living Dead, paired with the 1981 classic horror flick Evil Dead as a double feature, to Riverside Drive-In Theater in Vandergrift, PA. The newly-restored Night of the Living Dead, which was filmed in Pittsburgh, will also feature a an introduction in honor of director George Romero. If a horror movie about a pandemic isn't your thing right now, Riverside will also screen A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th from August 21-23. Check it out, but don't forget your blankie!
