Get in, Pittsburgh. We’re going to Flavortown.

Instead of watching yet another re-run of the Food Network classic Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, you will soon be able to go to Flavortown because celebrity chef Guy Fieri is opening a restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. Fieri is opening one of his American Kitchen + Bar restaurants in the new Live! Pittsburgh Casino in Hempfield. American Kitchen + Bar features American classics and unique versions on other dishes, like the world-famous Trash Can Nachos. Believe it or not, the Trash Can Nachos are so big, they come in a real trash can.

The restaurant, opening alongside the previously announced Sports & Social Steel City, will also serve mouthwatering desserts and craft cocktails like Flavortown’s Long Island.

Guy Fieri is no stranger to Pittsburgh, as he recently returned to the area to film a segment for his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives spinoff Triple D Nation at Kelly O’s Diner, so it should come as no surprise that he wants to open a restaurant here. According to Live! Pittsburgh Casino general manager Sean Sullivan, the casino is set to open either the third or fourth weekend of November.

Can’t wait to set foot in Flavortown and try those Trash Can Nachos!
