For those of you who have watched Pride and Prejudice one too many times on Netflix, feast your eyes on the first full trailer for Bridgerton, Shonda Rhimes' first-ever show produced exclusively for Netflix. Bridgerton, based on a bestselling series of novels by Julia Quinn, takes place in Regency era London, from about 1811 to 1820, and focuses on Daphne Bridgerton, the oldest daughter of the scandalous Bridgerton family. Daphne has been called all-but-eligible by Lady Whistledown, a mysterious columnist who writes about all of the happenings in London society, so she strikes a mutually-beneficial deal with a promiscuous duke and falls for him while they try to protect their secret. Lady Whistledown is voiced by none other than Julie Andrews, and Nicola Coughlan from the hilarious Derry Girls is also in the show. Watch the trailer here:
