I just starting watching Grey's Anatomy for the first time. Yes, I know, I'm behind the curve! But the show made me fall in love with Katherine Heigl and I started to wonder...where did she ever go? I remember her from 2000s rom coms like "Knocked Up", "One for the Money", and "The Ugly Truth" but after 2010 she just kind of drops off.
Turns out she was sort of... blacklisted in the industry for being "hard to work with" and "ungrateful". I won't get into it, but if you look at the complaints, it seems like the industry just wasn't ready for an opinionated woman. However, all of that is behind her now. With her new Netflix deal!
