Christian Werner is the President and a shareholder at an iconic American manufacturer Wendell August Forge in Mercer, Pennsylvania for the past three years. Wendell August Forge creates pieces of enduring beauty in metal, focusing on giftware, home décor, commemoratives and recognition programs. The company sells through multiple channels: premium promotional products, a robust online digital channel, hundreds of partner retailers nationwide, and our three company-owned retail stores.
Christian is an experienced President with a demonstrated history of working in the luxury giftware industry. Christian is skilled in strategic operational planning, retail sales, sales process and sales team growth, lean management, lean construction, and team building. He also has a strong business development professionalism with a Bachelor of Science (BS) focused in Sales and Marketing Operations/Marketing and Teacher Education from Kent State University.
Christian currently serves on two nonprofits as a Board of Director. He is a Board Member at Hinds’ Feet Farm. Hinds’ Feet Farm is dedicated to serving persons living with brain injuries. Their mission is to maximize the post- injury potential of persons living with brain injury with integrated, unique and holistic programs; allowing our members to pursue meaningful activities while developing a sense of belonging at home and in the surrounding communities. Christian also volunteers his time as an active Board member for Christian Family Life. Christian Family Life is helping build, enrich, and reconcile marriages for over four decades. Christian lives in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife, Susan, and his three children, Elle, Cade and Alexa. Christian dedicates himself to raising his family in a godly home. He is an active husband, and father and when Christian is not working, he likes golfing, cooking with Susan, hosting friends and family, traveling, attending Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin games and is passionate about looking at real-estate.
