Zayn Malik is celebrating turning one year older by championing causes "close to [his] heart" and indulging in a mind-blowing birthday cake.

On Sunday (January 12), ZAYN shared photos of his The Last Of Us-themed birthday cake on his Instagram Stories featuring a large bust of a zombie-like creature with ZAYN's name emblazoned on the base, per People. While sharing a pic of the artistic confection, the "Pillowtalk" musician thanked fans for their well-wishes and generosity in supporting causes he cares about.

"Thank you for all the birthday wishes. 32!! I've seen the projects you've all been creating to help others and couldn't be more thankful. Thanks for raising funds for causes close to my heart."

Another Story gave fans a closer look at the incredibly detailed cake as the One Direction alum thanked Elizabeth Rowe, known as The London Baker and winner of season two of Is It Cake?, for the spectacular work.

"Thank you for this amazing piece of art, you're an absolute legend," he captioned the pic. "This cake is the best I've ever had... in 32 years!"

ZAYN recently ended his first-ever solo tour, which supported his most recent album Room under the Stairs and was previously postponed following the tragic and unexpected death of his One Direction bandmate and "brother" Liam Payne.
