Le'Veon Bell Gets The Franchise Tag... Again

Le'Veon Bell is the best running back in the league from a sheer numbers standpoint. He's arguably a top 10 receiver as well. But Le'Veon is not happy with his contract with the Steelers.

For the second year in a row, the team has placed the 'franchise tag' on Bell, which binds him to a one year deal with the team if a long term agreement cannot be made. Bell wants to stay here for the rest of his career...

Long story short, Le'Veon Bell will make $14.5 million for one season if the Steelers don't come to a long term agreement with him. It's good money, but Bell wants to protect himself for the long term, and retire a Steeler. He may just retire anyway, which he's said he might do if the team hits him with the franchise tag again... remember when he worked at Dairy Queen for a hot minute???

NFL Network took a look at the situation earlier today...
