Following some backlash from a Roseanne Barr Twitter outburst (she said some racist stuff about an Obama Era staffer), ABC cancelled the hit reboot 'Roseanne.' The company wasted no time in making that call, and network President Channing Dungey has issued a brief statement to that effect:
“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
