There's a growing movement to eat burgers upside down. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but think about it. A big, fat, juicy burger. Dripping with grease, cheese (maybe), and condiments. Ever notice the bottom bun isn't able to absorb these things? I'm not talking about mass produced, fast food burgers either. Only the good sh*t.
The idea here is that the top bun is larger and spongier, it’s better suited to soak up all the juices from the burger to lock in the flavor. And the larger top bun is more durable.
It makes sense, doesn't it? Problem is, as soon as you turn the burger upside down, it instantly looks less appetizing. Not sure what that is, it just does. But FOOD INSIDER recently posted a video explaining this movement, and now the foodies are questioning everything...
However you eat your burger, the important thing is that it ends up in the same place no matter how you eat it. Enjoy your burger, and see you at Tessaro's.
