I'm not really sure why everyone makes a big deal about the Royal Family. In fact there are several reasons why the Monarchy is bad for England. But they get ratings. Just check out the coverage on Sunrise on 7, an English Today Show of sorts, where a little boy shoots the bird to a reporter covering the birth of the latest Royal baby...
Check out some of the comments on Twitter, and you'll quickly see that a good portion of the English think the Royal Family is rubbish (there I go using British terms!).
