Ariana Grande was in Atlanta on Saturday last week for a sold out show. She decided to donate a portion of the show proceeds to Planned Parenthood to the tune of $300,000. Georgia is just one of many states to recently pass restrictive anti-abortion laws.
Georgia is one of the states that passed the “fetal heartbeat” abortion law. The new restrictions have triggered a call for a boycott of the Peach State, and some entertainment companies have already pulled the plug on production. Ariana is setting an example for other performers who still plan to come to the state of Georgia to put on a show.
