Eminem had a rough upbringing, which is evident in his music and film career. He often rapped about how his father left him and his mother when he was just a baby. The two never spoke, but after Marshall rose to international fame, the father tried to reach out. But Eminem did not respond. It's a sad story, really...
Em has yet to address his father's passing on social media but did respond to the media on his father's previous attempts to contact him:
“I don’t need or want your money,” he wrote. “But the one ambition left in my life is to give you a hug and tell you I’ve always loved you.”
That letter was written 17 years ago, and Bruce never got that moment.
““I heard my dad is trying to get in contact with me, but not now. I never got one letter,” he told The Mirror. I never got anything from him and I think he could have at least tried to write. He could have done something — made an effort.”
