Anthony Bourdain's Ex Wife Shares Message With Photo Of Their Daughter

It's been several days since beloved chef Anthony Bourdain was found dead on Friday, and his ex wife Ottavia Busia has shared a message to him featuring a photo of their 11-year-old daughter Ariane Bourdain.

Anthony and Ottavia were together for nine years and separated back in 2016, though Anthony and Ottavia appeared to remain incredibly amicable throughout their time apart.

Just after the split, Anthony told People: "My wife and I live, have lived, very separate lives for years...There's no drama here. We get along really, really well and it's not a big lifestyle change happening here."

And Ottavia's message to Anthony following his suicide makes it clear that she still had love and respect for her ex and father of her daughter.

See the photo and what she wrote here:

"Our little girl had her concert today. She was amazing. So strong and brave. She wore the boots you bought her. I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are."

Ariane truly looks like a little rock star in the photo posted by her mom, and the boots that Anthony bought her are so cool. That is one "strong," "brave" and absolutely rocking girl for sure.

If you go onto Ottavia's Instagram page, you see she doesn't often share photos of her daughter, but one photo stands out from back in September 2016, where Ottavia, Ariane and Anthony are seen with silly poses, enjoying a meal together.

Before their split, Ottavia often shared snaps with Anthony before their split. On her Instagram he is seen cooking and competing in Jiu-Jitsu competitions:

Our hearts break for Ottavia and Ariane at this incredibly difficult time, but hopefully Ariane will keep on singing and wearing those boots her dad gave her.

If you or someone you know is struggling, always remember there are resources available and you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, 24 hours a day.
