This weekend was a big first the babies... we took them to the Los Angeles Zoo for the first time!
And let me tell you, I had some reservations about taking my little 5-month-old babies to the zoo, but it was me, my husband, my mom AND my aunt all going with them so I knew we had some reinforcements if things got a little hectic.
But it ended up being TOTALLY great! I don't even think Aiza or Maxon cried once. I think they really liked being outside for the whole day, and we definitely loved getting to experience something new with our babies!
The twins got to see their first flamingos, lion, monkeys, elephants and giraffes! Though... I got a little nervous at the lion enclosure because it just felt like they were probably strong enough to climb out of the exhibit which was lowered into the ground if they wanted to. Has anyone else noticed that?! Maybe it's just me.
Another first I'm considering this week? Taking the kids to their first baseball game!
I know, you're probably thinking I'm a little crazy but Aiza and Maxon did SO well at the zoo that I really feel like they could handle a Dodger game, and how cool would it be for their first game to be a playoff game?
Has anyone ever taken their small children to a Dodger game? Am I totally out of my mind for thinking this is doable, say, next week? Give me allll the advice before I make the decision!!
In other baby news, the Aiza and Maxon were shown on Live with Kelly and Ryan in their little matching onesies that we were given right when they were born... and they finally fit into them!
So I guess we can mark off the "first" of "first time on TV" for them! Watching them experience new things is so much fun.
