Disneyland And California Adventure Tickets Go On Sale Next Week

Disneyland 50th Anniversary Celebration

It has been over a year since Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure parks closed their doors.

And while California Adventure has re-opened partially for the "A Touch Of Disney" event which allowed Disney and DCA fans into the park to eat the different food and drink specialty beverages available within the parks, the park's rides have remained closed.

But next week, tickets go on sale for the ACTUAL return to Disneyland and California Adventure. And I have to admit, I am VERY excited.

Disney announced that those holding unused tickets (aka tickets that they had prior to the pandemic's closing of the parks) will be able to get their new tickets starting Monday, April 12th. Everyone else who wants to go back to the parks will have access to buying tickets on April 15th, which is Thursday of next week.

Both of the parks are scheduled to reopen on April 30th, and will be open from 7am to 9pm for those with pre-reserved tickets.

As reported by KTLA, the park tickets will not increase in pricing from last year's, though the 5-tier pricing system is in place. This means that an unused ticket for a lowest-tier day can only be used to book a new ticket for a day that is also designated as the lowest-tier price. The same rule applies to the other tiers. The calendar that designates those tiers will go online Friday, ahead of Monday's re-booking and reserving.

Park hopper tickets will also look different: upon availability, people will be able to select which park they want to start their day at. Then they will be able to access their second park starting at 1pm on the same day.

So if you're excited to head back to Disneyland or California Adventure, make sure you are up to date on the new policies before getting head of yourself.

I am SO excited to see things opening back up! It brings me so much hope. I won't be back at Disneyland juuuust yet - and we will probably wait until baby girl is born and old enough to go to the park herself - but I will DEFINITELY be ready to go back when it is time for that!

When are you ready to go back!? Leave me a Yap below!
