Justin Chambers announced at the end of 2019 that he would be ending his 16 season run on Grey's Anatomy to pursue other opportunities. Since Grey's has returned in the new year, Alex has been absent from the show and the current story line has his wife Jo believing that Alex may have left her. Then this promo happened. The sad music, the old montage...if they kill off Alex Karev I am going to be very upset. I'm not ready for this!!
