When the announcement came down in October that Apple TV+ had purchased the rights to the Peanuts catalog (including the holiday specials), fans were upset that for the first time in forever the beloved shows would not be available to watch on ABC. Some good news today - the Peanuts Thanksgiving & Christmas specials will be returning to public tv, to PBS!
"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will air commercial FREE on PBS this Sunday, November 22nd at 7:30. The special will also be available to stream anytime, November 25-27th on the Apple TV app with an Apple TV+ subscription.
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" will be available December 4th on PBS and stream for free from December 11-13 on the Apple TV app.
