International Women's Day - Kiya Tomlin

I love when women take their passion for creativity and turn it into a career. That's Kiya Tomlin! From the time she was a young girl, she has sewn her own clothing because she just wasn't happy with the fits she was finding in the stores.

I was thrilled to talk to Kiya because for years, I always heard how wonderful she is. Kiya is smart, creative and really knows how to design FOR women. Style and comfort? Sign me up! We talked at length about how Kiya started, got where she is, where she finds inspiration and the male dominated fashion industry.

During the scary early months of the pandemic, Kiya saw a need for PPE and used her resources to step up and sew hundreds of face masks for hospital support staff, so that everyone could be covered. That's beyond awesome!
