Not gonna lie, I got a little misty when I saw that Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) would be returning to Grey's in next week's episode! If you haven't been following along this season, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) caught covid and has been on a ventilator for multiple episodes. In her covid coma, Meredith has been straddling life and death on a dream beach where she has been seeing people in her life that passed away. Derek and George have both popped up. Next week, it's Meredith's sister Lexie that died following a horrific plane crash in season 11.
I swear, if Grey's doesn't put Mark Sloan on that beach with Lexie they'll be doing all of us a major disservice!
