If you are like me you have July 12th marked off on your calendar because Ed Sheeran will release an entire album of collabs! It will be titled No. 6 Collaborations Project.
So, I started digging into this because I was recently thinking about that Andrea Bocelli "Perfect" collab. That was when Ed started the file on his laptop called, "No 6. Collaborations."
Throughout the year while he was on tour anytime he met someone he was a fan of he'd say, "Let's get in the studio..." So this is a compilation album of artists that he is a fan of.
Ed actually said he wanted to do a male version of "Lady Marmalade." He was gonna get Bruno and Bieber on it...but then they both ended up doing individual songs with them.
Here's who we know that's on the album so far...
- Justin Bieber
- Bruno Mars
- Chance The Rapper
Some of my guesses...
- Julia Michaels, she was on that doc so I know.
- Anne Marie, she opened for him on tour.
- Lauv, also opened for him on tour.
- Niall Horan, just an educated guess since they are lads!
- Taylor Swift, since they did "End Game on her album she will probs return the favor.
I'm PUMPED for this album, no matter who is on it!
